Passions

I am the woman your husband does not want you to have in your home. Your husband knows that when his wife calls me, and I tell her “how fabulous this will look”, he will have to take the wallet out. I am a Designer. That is my job and I have been in business for 23 years. I will have to say it is fun spending other peoples money.

My passion is, wait for it, food and travel! Like so many other people I love to cook, bake and eat incredible food. And I’m sure you are asking, “What makes you any different than the other thousands of people who love the same thing, and what can you add to the table?” I’m not sure. All I can do is share my recipes, tips and techniques I have learned over the years. The joy of cooking for me comes from sharing with others. I do not enjoy cooking for myself.

Now, onto my passion for traveling. My love for traveling I would have to say came from my Dad. He was in the Air Force and I was fortunate enough to have lived in Europe. I got to see places most people only dream about. I have been blessed in that area and I have fond memories of the countries we traveled to.

I have always been the type of person who will get in their car and just go. No destination in mind, just go. Where the road takes me is where I end up. I love to see new places and do new things. Meeting new people is my favorite part. I can make friends with a brick wall.

When I was 18 and graduating from High School I wanted to get in my car and travel the back roads, meet people in small towns and work my way across the lower 48 states. I’m just shy of being 47 and my dream is becoming a reality.

This is my journey…
